VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FOR THE COMMUNITY WILL BE OPEN SOON.
The Big Day happens every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The food gets delivered from the store, the boxes get packed, and we deliver the boxes to the families who’ve been nominated.
If you’ve never experienced a Big Day, you’re in for a treat. The sense of purpose and love and service are all palpable, and the smiles of the families receiving the food are real and genuine.
We’ll need volunteers for setting up, packing the food, cleaning up, and delivering the food. In the coming weeks we’ll put up a registration form for peple to volunteer for the job of their choice.
In the meantime, what you can do most to help us is to share the word, learn more about food insecurity in general, and of course, donate.
